Sanctity of Human Life Sunday commemorates the anniversary of the US Supreme Court’s decision in Roe vs. Wade to legalize abortion on demand in our country. That fateful ruling was made on January 22, 1973. Each year, our nation recognizes this decision on the third Sunday in January.
Since that time, approximately 60 million lives have been lost to abortion. Southside Pregnancy Center firmly believes what God’s Word says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13
A Precious Gift
Southside Pregnancy Center values every life, born and unborn. Life is a precious gift from God. At the Center, we work to strengthen families by offering hope and help to those affected by an unplanned pregnancy. We desire to preserve life and purity for generations to come.
You and your congregation can show support for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday by giving sermons on the biblical perspective of the sanctity of life, volunteering, donating, requesting a speaker from Southside, or promoting the day throughout the month of January.
